Fish Of The Year

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() How The Contest Works
![]() #1
![]() The award is given twice a year to the individual who catches the most impressive trophy each season.
![]() The seasons are broken into winter and summer....if the fish is caught through the ice it's a winter catch, if it's not... it's a summer catch, got it?
![]() ![]() ![]() #2
![]() The species doesn't matter as long as it "IS" a game fish. For example... I post a 15lb salmon caught down rigging, and you post a 8lb brook trout caught on a fly....Brookies average around 2lb in on a good day, while 15lb Salmon are a common Catch, I would pick the Brookie...get it?
![]() ![]() ![]() #3
![]() The judging is performed by the Chief Editor, based on overall health and look of the fish, size over average, your story, and feedback of course!
![]() ![]() ![]() #4
![]() And the most important part....the prize! And it's exactly what every fisherman (or women) wants.... The "Official" Bragging rights, and there own picture on this site to prove it!
![]() "There may be actual prizes in the future"
![]() If we get enough public interest to attract corporate partners.
